Sheryl Underwood, she is an American comedian and TV personality popular as host for The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl Underwood was a native of Arkansas and grew up in Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her youth helping her younger sister Frankie as she was a victim of polio. While growing up, she suffered an uneasy relationship with her mother. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was having a relationship with her. Sheryl was drafted into the military upon her college graduation. The area of interest she was most interested in was comedy. She was the only female who made it to the 1989 competition Miller Lite Comedy Search. Her TV profession began in the year 1992 with her appearance on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she began appearing for The Talk as co-host. Furthermore, she's performed fictional roles on television shows like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
