Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up in the state. She became a TV host on the talk show daytime The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is the product of an extremely troubled family. She grew up caring for her younger older sister Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. As a teenager, she experienced many issues with her mother. Sheryl claims that in one instance her mother stabbed her father due to him becoming too close to her. Sheryl enlisted in the military following her graduation from college. However, her interests lay in the field of comedy. In 1989 she was the first female to make it to the top of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was a host on the TV show Oh Drama! She has appeared as host on The Talk since 2011. She has also appeared as an unnamed character on programs like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
