Sheryl is a famous American actress, comedian, TV presenter and best-known for her hosting of The Talk, a popular chat show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, was raised among Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a very troubled background. She was a child who spent a lot of time looking after her older sister Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. Growing up, she had an uneasy relationship with her mom. Sheryl says that at an incident, she was stabbed by her father for getting too close to her. Following her college graduation Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She launched her TV job in the year 1992, being a regular actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. Since 2011, she has been hosting as a co-host of the talk show The Talk. She has also been the fictional character in TV shows such as Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
